Eliza Fletcher, heiress to a fortune of more than a billion dollars, was found murdered. The body of the 34-year-old woman was found after three days of searching.

Police in Memphis, United States, confirmed that there is a person in custody, charged with the crime.

Authorities have not yet confirmed Fletcher’s cause of death, according to WHBQ-TV, but have identified the body as that of the billionaire heiress, who was found 10 kilometers from where she was last seen.

The 34-year-old woman was the heiress to the Orgill hardware company, based in Memphis, Tennessee. The company has more than 5,500 employees and is valued at three billion dollars.

The young woman’s grandfather was the maker of the empire and died in 2018 at the age of 80. A local newspaper described Orgill Inc. as a “hidden company,” saying “most people in Memphis have no idea the reach of Orgill Inc.”

Fletcher, 34, went missing on Friday after being violently kidnapped while out for a morning run. Cleotha Abston was charged Sunday with especially aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence, but her motive remains unclear.

The slain girl’s grandfather, the late Joseph “Joe” Orgill III, ran Orgill Inc, a hardware supply company that currently employs more than 5,500 people.
